Error plane element when simulating Kineros

Hi shea, what is the reason for this error -  plane element (canopy cover fraction can not be more than 1.0)

Hi Aazim,
I'm assuming you used AGWA to create the input files for KINEROS? If so, this is probably a result of an error during the parameterization step in AGWA, which we'll have to track down.

In your ArcMap project that you were running AGWA in, can you open the Catalog pane/window and go to the Default geodatabase, then look for and add the LandCoverTabulateArea table to the map/data frame? 
To quickly navigate to the Default geodatabase, you can click on the Geodatabase icon at the top of the Catalog pane.

If you have that table, can you export it to a DBF and attach it to your post? Also, take a look at the Results pane in the ArcMap project and see if there are any geoprocessing tools that failed to run. To open the Results pane, click on Results in the Geoprocessing menu of the menu bar at the top of ArcMap.

This was resolved off the Google Group, but for others potential future reference I'll post what happened and the solution here. 

This was a result of the IMPERV field in the custom land cover look-up table that was being used being entered as percent impervious rather than fractional impervious, so it ranged from 0 to 100 instead of 0 to 1. Percent impervious is used to adjust two other K2 parameters, canopy cover (COVER in the K2 parameter file) and saturated hydraulic conductivity (KS in the K2 parameter file), so when the IMPERV field is outside of its normal range, than both the COVER and KS values can also become out of range and give an error message when executing the model. The solution was to convert percent impervious to fractional impervious by dividing the IMPERV field by 100.
