Hello,
- shapefile with the point location of the stations in which I included two different fields: NAM (a LONG numeric field), and GaugeID (a DOUBLE numeric field) with the 4-digit station number of each station
- unweighted precipitation file as a .csv and also as a .dbf with a column for YEAR, DAY (Julian Day of the year), and a column for each station (using naming convention G####). Data range is 01/01/1983 - 12/31/2020 and daily precip for each station.
I have tried writing the precipitation file several times using either the NAM or GageID field as the "selected rain gage ID field". I have also tried using either the .csv or .dbf as the unweighted precip file. In all attempts, I get one big Thiessen polygon that extends way beyond the boundaries of my study area. When I open its attribute table there is no field (column) for precipitation- not sure if that is normal or what the attribute table for the thiessen polygons should look like. The intersection polygon that I get looks just like the discretized planes.
I am attaching a zip file with the .shp, .csv, .dbf, and a word doc with screenshots.
thanks so much for the help!
Alma
