A very simple Question we all must have encountered all thru our life is :
What's your Name ?
The answer though containing our Entire existence seems very easy as we reply ....
My Name is Ravada. Hyma Rao D/O Ravada. Vijaya Kumar. .
We all have a sense of Pride and a Belonging to the Surnames , our Parents Names as they tell us about out Family History and Roots.
Can you imagine being without knowledge of Your Parents Names and your Birth details.
Can you even for a day disassociate yourself from your Name and imagine the kind of Lost feeling you would be Experiencing.
Our IDENTITY IS LOST !!!
So , I am sure all those of you who are reading this find it very difficult to even imagine , then can you feel for those Special children who are left in Dustbins or at the door of Orphan Homes and thier complete History is erased at that Moment.
Yes , I am talking of those special children whom we call as Orphans. Valmiki Hriday : a project of Valmiki Foundation caters to such Special Children. Ganesh Valmiki & Valmiki Hari Kishan and thier enitre family have dedicated themselves to this wonderful Commitement of taking care of 30 Children who all are Boys. So the logic that Girls are abandoned to die while Boys are preferred is a Myth. Boys also face the same dilemma. We live in a society , where we have stopped Empathising. At Valmiki Hriday , the children are shown that they are Precious!!!
FMLR: Fellowship of Music Loving Rotarians in our own small way are going to the Home tommorrow thats 30th Nov , Sunday between 4pm and 6pm to entertain and spend TIME With the Children. It's our way of saying We TOO CARE !!!
I might have not been able to Move all of you but even if One of you is Moved and Feels, please Join Us and Show You Care. It makes a difference to see the SmileS on the faces of Children. Your Sunday Siesta Time Is what we Request you to GIVE and make the Afternoon Memorable for the Children .
