Flooding will affect many of us, our neighborhoods, historical places, our means of transportation, and the accessibility of food. Co-curators and artists Jason Pramas, Susan Emmerson, and Stacey Cushner (the Collective) request 2D and 3D art from individual and/or teams of artists, architects and planners that focuses on the impact of flooding in Boston in the years to come. All proceeds from this national, bi-annual exhibition will support student scholarships in the CWU Department of Art. The juror for the 2015 INTERSTATE exhibition is Michael Rooks, the Wieland Family Curator of Contemporary Art, at the High Museum of Art, in Atlanta, Georgia. The exhibit is open to all artists over the age of 18 working in 2-dimensional, 3-dimensional, and video formats. (Works created/completed as an undergraduate or graduate student are not eligible.)
