Amphora Gallery will be putting on a show at the Crane Arts Building during Second Thursdays in November, titled "100 Under 100." The show will take place at Gallery 106 and will open along with the buildings other gallery spaces opening nights. Artists are invited to submit any artwork, as long as it is priced under $100. Artists can also submit one piece of art for free, and up to five more pieces for $5 each (or 5 pieces for $20). Artwork delivery and pick-up is the responsibility of the artist.

In the case of pieces being sold, artists receive 60% of the sale price, with the other 40% going to charity. Artists can also choose to donate all the sale price, which will be tax deductible. All mediums are welcome, except for video and installation. 3-D works are allowed, but artist must be able to provide a stand for the piece as none are currently available.

The Institute for Humanities Research (IHR) is seeking entries that address the theme of "Affect and Reason" for a contemporary art exhibition in spring 2015. HEREart provides emerging and early career visual artists and curators access to space at an active, well-located multi-arts center. HEREart presents 6 exhibitions annually, curated by guest curators. Exhibitions will take place between May 2015 - February 2016 and include curator-driven collaborations between artists, as well as large-scale initiatives by solo artists. HEREArt will provide one art installer for one day and a $400 budget (which must include shipping and transportation costs). MARYLAND’S PURPLE LINE SEEKS ARTISTS FOR ENHANCEMENT PROJECTS

The Maryland Transit Administration’s (MTA) General Engineering Consultant Team (GEC) seeks artists to create enhancements for the future Purple Line light rail project. The Purple Line, expected to be operational in 2020, will connect Montgomery and Prince George’s Counties in Maryland.

This Call to Artists is open to all professional artists, preferably with public art experience.

Artists will be asked to work with the communities along the corridor to create artwork that highlights the cultural vitality of the region, and reflects the artistic, cultural and/or historical interests of the surrounding communities.

Carroll University seeks a public artist who is experienced with community collaborations to lead in the creation a of a community-based, temporary, public sculpture in summer 2015 on the Carroll University Campus in Waukesha, Wisconsin.

The artist will be responsible for communicating with faculty and other participants, guiding all phases of the work with help from Carroll faculty, fostering group ideas and consensus, giving a community presentation and ultimately orchestrating artistic decisions for the sculpture. Dates are somewhat flexible. Housing, board and travel provided up to $1,500. Priority will be given to sculptors who work with natural, local materials and/or work with environmental themes that raise awareness of environmental issues and call attention to local habitat.

$5,000 stipend.

The Peoria Art Guild presents an opportunity for artists who create installation art to exhibit in our first biannual Installation exhibition. PAG seeks proposals that offer new ways of considering installation or furthering the understanding of the discipline and how it can intersect with other mediums. Artist proposals will be reviewed relative to the following criteria:

- Quality of the proposal and prior work
- Responsiveness in regards to the specific context of the Peoria Art Guild and the Gateway Building
- Feasibility of the project

This exhibit is juried by PAGs Exhibitions Committee, which consists of professional artists, curators, and art educators. $3000 in prize money will be awarded during the opening

Shock Print is a national printmaking juried exhibition surveying contemporary printmaking in the United States. The exhibition will showcase both traditional and contemporary prints. As part of an ongoing commitment to promote drawing practices in the visual arts, the University of North Carolina Asheville invites artists to submit entries to a National Juried Exhibition of contemporary drawing. UNC Asheville seeks to examine drawing as it is practiced and defined by todays artists. Such an exhibition will demonstrate the continued significance of drawing through both conventional and innovative methods. Accepted work will be exhibited in UNC Ashevilles S. Tucker Cooke Gallery from January 16, 2015 through March 1, 2015. This exhibition will be accompanied with a full color catalogue.

Esteemed juror, Val Britton will be present and open the exhibition with a lecture about her practice on January 16, 2015; Drawing Discourse opening reception immediately following lecture. $1000 in awards will be presented by the juror.

Awards:
One artist will receive a $500 Purchase Award and their selected work will be added to the University of Texas at Arlington
s Art/Art History & Rare Books Collection.
