Percussion Server Down Over Break

It looks like CIS is doing some maintenance over the break. Your
sites in Percussion CMS till remain up, but you will not be able to
make updates during the maintenance window. Details below.

Because of leaks in the aging cooling infrastructure in the Teague
Data Center, all of the valves on the chilled water supply line will
be replaced.

This is the first step in a two-year project to completely renovate
the cooling system in the Teague Data Center. When the renovation is
complete, the Teague Data Center will have a fully redundant cooling
infrastructure.

This abnormally long maintenance has been scheduled while the
University is closed and usage is at a minimum. To see uptime
statistics in the CIS data centers, go to http://uptime.tamu.edu.

Impact:

Many systems in the Teague Data Center will be unavailable during this
maintenance. The following enterprise services will remain available:
Texas A&M network, authentication services, Code Maroon, and the TAMU
email relays.

When the work is completed an update will be posted on http://enhancement.tamu.edu.
