All,

Based on the RSVPs we have received thus far, we have finalized a
location for the CMS Summer Summit that is happening this Wednesday,
August 19th.

It will be held in Room 410 of the University Library ANNEX on the
campus of Texas A&M University in College Station.

For those of you who need a map of the facility to find the room, you
can find it here (annex is on the second page):

For those of you from out of town who need directions to the library
itself, you can find it here:

There is WiFi available, so feel free to bring your laptops. Depending
on the speed of the WiFi, individual connectivity to the CMS may not
be possible (it needs a fairly speedy connection), but you should be
able to get online if needed. We'll be connected via LAN line for the
presentation and training and have a projector, so individual CMS
access shouldn't be necessary.

The schedule is as follows:

10am-11:30-ish: CMS Overview. We will showcase the new AgriLife.org,
Extension and Research sites and the behind-the-scenes mechanics as to
how they work within the CMS. We will discuss lessons learned from
first rolling out the CMS College-wide last Fall to this latest
rollout. AgriLife IT will be there to discuss the new SSL approach to
CMS connectivity and future upgrades to the new version of the
Percussion CMS product. We will then have open floor to talk about
enhancements, wishlists, etc.

11:30ish-1pm: Lunch break. You can take lunch on your own or join a
group going o a place together we can agree upon beforehand.

1pm-3:30pm: CMS Training. We will step through a full training on
utilizing the CMS to get your site built and published using the
Percussion CMS. This will be presented by myself and other reps from
Communications and IT using our projector, so individual access is not
necessary.

3:30-4pm: CMS Transition List. For anyone who is interested in
transitioning their sites to the CMS, we can talk next steps.

Looking forward to seeing you all there!
Thanks,
Max
