NDVI option/simulation in EPIC

Dear All,

I would like to know if there is a way to simulate NDVI using the EPIC model. If this is not possible, could I use the general formula to calculate NDVI from LAI, such as y = a x^b?

Hi.

I have never worked with NDVI, but EPIC provides the LAI and aboveground biomass values on daily time scale. I am not sure NDVI can be directly related to the amount of aboveground biomass present in the field, but if a reliable estimation of the biomass or LAI from NDVI value is possible, you will be able to compare the values estimated with NDVI with the values predicted with the EPIC model.
