Hi everyone,

I have a watershed that has external groundwater input. I'm using a point source water input to account for this. The APEX discharge predictions are roughly accurate, but APEX is drastically overpredicting surface runoff and wildly underpredicting groundwater inputs. (See graphs attached: thick green lines are calibration data and thin blue lines are APEX outputs.) Has anyone worked with groundwater in APEX before and what are your recommendations for adjusting the partitioning?

I've been testing a lot of parameters in the Parm file, the Cont file, and the Suba file, with little change. I would appreciate knowing which parameters other people have changed which have helped with this partitioning.

I did make the assumption that groundwater input = WYLO (m3/s) - QO (m3/s) in the .RCH output file.

Thanks in advance!
Lauren
