Hi everyone,
I followed the APEX EDITOR MANUAL and tried to run the 5 simulations given.

Simulation 1: Crop Rotation (Corn/Soybean)
This scenario involves changing the land management from a single-crop system to a multi-year rotation, such as a Corn and Soybean rotation.
What it Simulates: It evaluates how alternating crops with different nutrient needs and growth patterns affects the long-term sustainable production and environmental quality of the farm.

Simulation 2: Conservation Practices (Buffer Strips)
  • The Change: In this simulation, I added Buffer Strips (or vegetated filter strips) to specific subareas within the watershed.

    Simulation 3: Manure Management

  • The Change: This scenario focuses on livestock impacts, such as manure management from feed yards or dairies. It involves setting up "Herds" with specific grazing or manure production rates.

How ever I got the same results in the rch and sub output exactly the same.

    1. I did WRITE APEX INPUT FILES , which I initially thought was the reason I got the same result.

    2. I have attached screenshots of the input parameters changed in the input file along with this .

Hi,

Take a look at the OUT output files generated for each simulation. The initial part of the OUT file include information about the setting of the simulation. In this way you can check if the model is actually simulating what is needed.
