Dear Anh,
Looking at the source code, RZSW printed in the SAD output file does not include the water below wilting point. I am wondering if this quantity could be enough to bring the simulated soil water content to the level of the observed one.
I think the soil water content is provided in some other output file. Give it a try and let us know.

Dear all,

I am looking at Soil water content during growing season for model calibration.
Compare between Soil water content at rootzone (RZSW or SW) and soil moisture sensor data. Model simulate the same trend, however SW / RZSW is lower than sensor data.

Would you recommend which soil parameters I need to adjust or which PARMs can affect SW / RZSW?

Thanks

Anh

Luca,

Thanks for your reply.
I found DCN file output soil water at different depths defined from soil profile and I can related to that to compare with my soil moisture sensor data.

Good.
Let us know how it goes.

Luca,

Besides the first 20 days of the sensor's installation, APEX simulates the soil water trend well. I may improve the simulation with soil FC and UW.

Thanks
Anh
