We are looking for Zonal Trainer-Retail Training, professionals who are experties in the given below areas for our esteemed client; who is one of the leading and reputed Business House.

POSITION : Zonal Trainer

LOCATION : Zones

(Hyderabad, Warangal, Kurnool, Vizag, Vijayawada and Guntur)

DEPARTMENT : Retail - Training

REPORTS TO : Sr Manager – Training

GENERAL ACCOUNTABILITY

This position reports to the Sr.Manager Retail training, who in-turn reports to the GM- Training and has the following areas of accountability

• Conduct and record Training Need Analysis for the zone in consultation with the Zonal Manager and AMRO

• Preparation and executtion of the Zonal Training Calender.

• Training delivery – for all profiles in Mana Gromor (ZM,AMRO,RSM,RSS,RSA,FSA) – Class room/On the job

• Design and develop training aids including manuals, handouts etc required in the process

• On the job training, in store and on-field for AMMs / RSMs/ FSAs

• Gather, record and analyze competition information to constantly update training content.

• Actively train RSMs and AMMs in conducting effective farmer meetings.

• Liason with Agri educational institutions and research institutes to source latest information on new molecules, best agricultural practices etc.

• Responsible for ensuring sales target achievement for their respective zones.

• Constantly interact with ZM and AMRO - to understand requirements and update information on various training programs conducted/scheduled

• Preparation of Training MIS.

• Analyse training effectiveness of all training programs conducted in the zone.

 NATURE AND SCOPE OF POSITION

• The thrust is on providing Agri technical training

• Assistance for this position is available from the business vertical head, immediate reporting manager and the Training Head

• Traveling extensively to remote pockets of the state is imperative

Major challenges to the position

• Training may not be prioritized due to seasonal business requirements.

Nature of Controls on this position

• Training SOPs - attendance, level 1 to Level 4 assesment, maintaining training MIS

• Stakeholders feedback on training effectiveness

Extent of Contacts:

• Business Head,ZM’s, AMRO’s, AMMs, RSM’s,FSAs, Zonal trainers, IO and RO ( others – HR and Finance teams)

Position Significance

• The position’s JD is directly responsible for the L&D for all the stakeholders in his/her zone. The result of deliverables impact sales and hence is very critical. Measuring ROI is relatively easy as results can be measured tangibly.

Typical day of a Zonal trainer

• Gathering information on training required, conducting training sessions, working with the RSMs, AMMs and FSAs on the field, Contacting agri research institutions and analyzing completion products, travelling to stores, meeting and talking to customers on customer satisfaction levels and understanding training needs, Measuring training impact, reporting activities to IO, ZMs and AMROs regularly.

Zonal training manager profile requirements - Must be Agri. graduate with good pesticide product knowledge. Should be able to communicate fluently in Telugu and English. Must be able to work confidently on MS office. Should be willing to re-locate to any of the zones. Should be prepared to travel extensively. Preferably experienced in agri selling.

Remuneration :- Best in the industry and not a constraint for right candidate.
