Reports to := Reporting to SBU Head – Business Development

Scope of work
Business development initiatives for Community Irrigation. The company plans for aggressive entry into this business areas and succeed beyond the existing business of drip solutions

Territory coverage :- All India

Key expectation from the position holder : - Business growth through business development and marketing support to SBU sales team – ensure Netafim’s success (top line growth & market share) for the specified businesses

Key / Primary Responsibilities :

a) Environment scanning : Identifying business opportunity for the said business – conduct market research, competitors’ business analysis & model in respective territory / segment, access development potential, understand various business solutions through Netafim’s products and services, market segmentation & approaching right segment
b) Concept selling among institutional clients & governmental machinery, educating, sensitizing them - Developing key institutional clients – with special reference to influencing apex level government officials in State & Center / nodal agencies etc. wrt Community Irrigation projects – creating awareness wrt issues and Netafim’s solutions through respective technology / products / services – creating governmental opinion in favor of Netafim
c) Conduct exploratory meetings with potential clients, enhance awareness and acceptance level of Netafim’s business solutions in respective segments
d) Planning & executing strategies for business growth & sales
e) Marketing communication support to sales team
f) Develop guidelines / policy wrt pricing, discounts and related matters
g) Review effectiveness of strategy performance – feedback to management - MIS building for restrategizing
h) Budget projection, execution and variance analysis
