We are looking for Zonal Manager – Retail Operations, professionals who are experts in the given below areas for our esteemed client; who is one of the leading and reputed Business House.


Job Title: Zonal Manager - Retail Operations

Years of Experience 4 + yrs in a reputed organization

Field Agri implements, Agri inputs, Pesticides, Fertilisers, seeds or (Rural Sales and Market)

Qualification MBA from a reputed Institute

Language Fluency in Telugu mandatory

Target Position
Positions in Sales having independent P&L responsibility like Area Sales Manager (from Rural Product sales), Product Manager, Sales Manager, Busioness Development Manager, Regional Manager

Requirements
Aggression, Result orientation, Passion for rural sales, should be intrested in picking up new retailing categories, Innovative and should have leadership qualities

Location of posting any where in Andhra Pradesh

Reporting to: Operation Head
Reportees: Area Managers, Sales Officers

Job Responsibilities:

1.Responsible for sales, operations & profitability targets for 70 odd retail outlets spread over 4 districts in tier 3 and tier 4 towns. Focus is completely on Rural retail which is a sunrise sector. The merchandise mix at Coromandel retail outlets comprises of primarily agri inputs, veterinary products, agri services, insurance and products catering to Home needs
2.Responsible for achieving storewise & categorywise topline, bottomline & contributions
3.Responsible for sales of Fertilisers and agri nutrients from dealer channels
4.Handle a team or around 400 people, reporting to him directly or indirectly
5.Travel extensively across the zones into the mandal/taluka/village HQ’s as the job and customers base is spread there
6.Drive footfalls and establish the concept of retail concept as a way of life at rural level
7.Responsible for the Balance sheet & Profitability for the zone
8.Develop good rapport with the customer base comprising of farmers and non farming community in rural areas which should ultimately translate into sales and revenue

Bus volume responsible for 200 to 250 crores from channel & Retail 80% turn over will be through Agri

Desired Traits

1.Aggressive, Result oriented person with a passion for rural sales.
2.Should be interested in picking up rural retailing
3.Should be innovative with good leadership qualities
4.Since this being a sunrise startup business with a unique business model, there will moments of ambiguity and the candidate should have the appetite in handling risks etc.
5.In case from a non-agriculture background, should be willing to pick up technical knowledge of agri product categories i.e. fertilizers, pesticides, seeds etc
6 Profile requires travelling, we are not sectoral specific but will consider profiles who have a connect with our products or geographies or Business model or customer profiles in current or previous assignments

Salary :- Best in the industry and not a constraint for right candidate
