Job Summary
Establish & manage Seeds profit
center. Identify and execute the new business opportunities, by putting world
class sourcing, processing, production, sales & marketing processes & strong team in
place.
Key Responsibilities
·
Identify & evaluate business opportunities by doing thorough market
analysis. Developing market network and it’s management
·
Provide inputs in formulating strategy for the business development
·
Appropriately Administer, budget, monitor, report, communicate the
business results.
·
Establish strong systems and processes for procurement, production,
processing, of seeds and ensure the compliance of the same
·
Establish strong supply chain for procurement and dispatch, analyze the
distribution network & developing Distribution reach.
·
Liaison with outside agencies like supplier, customers, business
associates & government officers
·
Would be responsible for Technology transfer, licensing, partnerships
assessment and development
·
P & L responsibility
Competencies
Vision &
Strategic Orientation, Strong Result Orientation with Execution Excellence,
Strong negotiation skills, good knowledge of seeds industry starting from
sourcing to dispatch.
Qualification:
B.Sc/M.Sc
(Agri ) preferably with Management Degree from premier institutes
Experience
8 to 12 years
in reputed Companies dealing in agribusiness, especially seeds.
