Good rains were reported in main chilli producing areas of Andhra
Pradesh. Spot market for Jeera at Unjha was partially closed on
Monday, due to heavy rains. Daily supply declined sharply to about
2,500-3,000 bags while spot rates traded steadily around Rs. 153-155
per kg, as per local traders.
