Hi all,

I have to admit, it's not totally clear to me. But is there any Jakarta EE 9 support planned for AgRest? I'm not sure what's impacted. But If I try to update my project with it I have of course building errors (e.g., specifically in the .uri() method of SelectBuilder, which uses
javax.ws.rs.core.UriInfo).
Not an emergency on my side, I have 'old' dependencies on JAXB side which are prone to cause me harder issues :).

thanks
Anthonin

An ideal solution that we've been considering would be to decouple the core from JAX-RS API completely, and make JAX-RS a thin "adapter". A less ideal one would be to split it by Agrest release version (something we did for Cayenne 4.0/4.1 vs 4.2).

But yeah, we'll definitely need to deal with it at some point.
