The BIOGEA project researches the impact of land use change on Green Blue Infrastructure (GBI) in the agricultural landscape. Through policy analysis on the EU and national level and biological monitoring and modelling in six case study areas in 3 Member States (Germany, Spain and Bulgaria), the impacts of policy on GBI and GBI on biodiversity are examined. This research was funded through the 2015-16 BiodivERsA Co-fund Call for research proposals, with the national funders Bulgarian National Science Fund, German Federal Ministry of Education and Research, Spanish Ministry of Economy and Competitiveness.
