So i bought my iphone 6 from USA and it got stolen in a different country where i live at the moment. Now to block my phone the authorities over here are asking for a 15 digit IMEI number. I still have the box of my phone but that box has a IMEI Number of 14 digits only!
now they wont register a complain untill i have a 15 digits imei number. What to do where to find that one extra digit. I have marked as stolen on i cloud as well hence cant see the details of my device the only thing i have is the phone box with 14 digits imei number.
All cellular devices have an IMEI. Your phone has one. It is on the box the phone came in. And I posted a link to an Apple article that explains how to find the IMEI of your phone. It is the blue text in my previous post. Blue text on a web page is called a link. You click anywhere on the blue text and a new page will open that has additional information. Here it is again:
Just so to make sure. Does that mean that my phone wont have an imei number? Also is there anyway i can find out whats my imei number through my meid number or eve serial number? Like i need to find out my imei number my box doesnt have that it has meid and i dont have access to phone or find my iphone
