Hi all,
I am referring back to an old issue raised by Valérie De Waele on December 21, 2023, because I am experiencing the same problem despite using the latest versions of camtrapDensity and camtraptor.
My Agouti export file covers two deployment seasons: Autumn 2023 and Spring 2024.
The Rowcliffe camtrap density package works well for analyzing the Autumn 2023 data. However, when processing the Spring 2024 session for target species (wild boar, fallow deer, and roe deer), the package doesn’t read the data correctly.
The .csv file contains all required observation details (speed, radius, angle, etc.), but when I load the .json file into R, it’s missing speed, radius, and angle data. Interestingly, I don’t run into the same issue when analyzing fox data from the same session.
I also tried exporting only the Spring 2024 data, but this attempt failed as well, resulting in the same error message while inputting the distance sampling command: "there are no usable position data."
Could you suggest some way for us to fix this problem?
Cheers,
Barbara
