Good morning,

A colleague of mine is using a different software program (Traptagger), and in that software, you can see the bounding boxes the AI uses to detect animals in the images. You can also manually adjust these boxes.

I believe this would be a great addition to Agouti. For example, if a piece of grass keeps moving in the bottom-left corner throughout the deployment, it would be helpful to mark that area as "empty" so the AI can ignore it. Ideally, this would help the AI classify those sequences as blank altogether, since nothing else is moving in the photo.

Would something like this be possible in Agouti?

Kind regards,
Esther Swankhuisen

The option to show bounding boxes as detected by the AI during annotation in Agouti is on our wish list. We would like to make that optional so users can choose to use that feature or not. However, we also do not want to turn Agouti into a full-fledged AI labelling tool. Our AI tools are therefore separate so our users can focus on their data and not worry about the AI.
