But it is obvious that the cameras.json file is ignored in both cases, it has no effect in the outcome. Even if I set the values to random, totally different values, the outcome is the same. Why is cameras.json ignored? How to properly import it?
Like I said, I already tried inputting the JSON in the cameras (json) field that you sent a screenshot of , but it still seemed to be ignored. (I also tried to send a screenshot but the website blocked adding it.) Even though the docs say
Use the camera parameters computed from another dataset instead of calculating them. Can be specified either as path to a cameras.json file or as a JSON string representing the contents of a cameras.json file. Default: ``
So either the documentation it wrong or I am missing something obvious here. There was no warning or error about the cameras parameter being invalid. Even if I input wildly different json strings, the output stays the same, and there is no warning or error whatsoever about the cameras parameter.
Now when I uploaded a file instead of providing a JSON string, it seemed to take it into account. When provided with crazy camera parameters, the result was also wildly different, as expected (sanity check).
We have a custom board, and we try the import our calibrated data which has not modified data by the excel. When we click the import button, gain parameters (Cell-1 gain Cell-2 gain ... , CC gain, Capacity Gain etc.) would not be imported to our new ic. (We can see calibrated gain parameters in exported .gg file. However we could not see these parameters imported. ) We would like to use our calibrated data in our new IC's.
Apply and OK. Now when you import you will load the calibration items from the gg.csv file also. When you "write all" it will load the part. Note there is an option for automatic write on the same preference page.
I export the Measurement to a CSV file. The CSV file has two columns: one column contains x-values and the other y-values, both after the affine transformation generated by the Figure Calibration plugin has been applied.
I would try to combine the different codes myself. In that case, I could just reverse the Figure Calibration transformation for the imported points.
However, since one is written as a plugin using Java and the other is written as a macro, I do not know how to edit the tools and make them work together.
If anyone has example code of how to place Multi-point points using plugin Java code, I should probably be able to adapt the code for my purposes.
This class uses cross-validation to both estimate the parameters of aclassifier and subsequently calibrate a classifier. With defaultensemble=True, for each cv split itfits a copy of the base estimator to the training subset, and calibrates itusing the testing subset. For prediction, predicted probabilities areaveraged across these individual calibrated classifiers. Whenensemble=False, cross-validation is used to obtain unbiased predictions,via cross_val_predict, which are thenused for calibration. For prediction, the base estimator, trained using allthe data, is used. This is the prediction method implemented whenprobabilities=True for SVC and NuSVCestimators (see User Guide for details).
Already fitted classifiers can be calibrated via the parametercv="prefit". In this case, no cross-validation is used and all provideddata is used for calibration. The user has to take care manually that datafor model fitting and calibration are disjoint.
If True, the estimator is fitted using training data, andcalibrated using testing data, for each cv fold. The final estimatoris an ensemble of n_cv fitted classifier and calibrator pairs, wheren_cv is the number of cross-validation folds. The output is theaverage predicted probabilities of all pairs.

The TopoDOT application offers the capability to import calibrated images and map the image pixel orientation to the perspective view of the selected MicroStationTM view. This unique tool makes it possible to overlay extracted CAD elements over the image in the selected view with very high precision thereby employing this image information as a reference in feature identification.
The camera calibration file contains distortion coefficients and intrinsic properties of the camera used by TopoDOT to remove distortion of the images on the fly. It is important to note that should the images provided with the image project already have their distortion removed, the radial and tangential distortion coefficients (k and P values) should be set to 0.
The image list file contains all images tagged with the camera location, orientation and filename as shown below. It is important to note that the camera location must be in the overall project coordinate system. Similarly, the orientation must be referenced to the project coordinate axes.
Calibrated images combined with point cloud data greatly improve the productivity and quality of the extraction process. Typically, a user simply clicks on a point and TopoDOT will search through thousands of images to quickly find the closest image and import it automatically. Once the image is loaded, the user is able to switch between cameras to view adjacent areas. TopoDOT users continuously exploit the detail in high resolution calibrated images to identify features and assets within the point cloud. Thus maintaining an organized image project format is imperative for overall process performance.
It would be nice to know how these coordinate systems are defined, with respect to the photogrammetry PATB system ( -us/articles/202558969-Yaw-Pitch-Roll-and-Omega-Phi-Kappa-angles)
Here it seems like roll happens around the East-West axis and pitch around a North-South axis suggesting an East-North-Up (local) coordinate frame.
The Import Calibration Type is used to load a calibration file that has been created by an N Point or Sequential N Point Calibration Tool, and exported to the In-Sight vision system's local file system. The imported calibration file automatically calibrates the current job as soon as it has been loaded.
The gel picker for the Skypanels seems to be massively off regardless of mode. Additionally, if the instrument is operated in "calibrated color mode" the gel picker is even further off. The calibrated mode allows for direct DMX values (XY, HSI or RGBW) that correspond to a "Kodak Pro Photo Color Gamut / ESTA standard E1.54" which allows near perfect source matching to a gel on a 3200k or 5600k source. Currently I'm using a spreadsheet I've made from a PDF reference chart that Arri has released (Link is a zip of 4 PDFs =registration&file_uid=17292) My spreadsheet takes their 16bit Hi/Lo values and makes them values I can directly input. The work flow is to search the gel then make a palette with it when it's needed. The issue of course is being fast enough for my Cinematographer and Gaffer not to pull their hair out or have their big name directors yell at them. I also believe that my computers should be able to automate this system much more efficiently.
It would be great if there was a general skypanel mode that had these calibrations built into the gel picker or if a color palette list was built that we could import into our own number scheme. From what I've seen I can't import an ASCII, CSV, spreadsheet or any format that I could automate a conversion from to import myself. Such as importing this entire gel list into CP1001-1999.
A while ago I wrote a blog post about my issues with A6000 images in Lightroom not being calibrated particularly well. I included some calibration settings in the form of a pair of Lightroom presets. Since then, I've been doing some more work on trying to get a starting point that I'm happy with. With that in mind, here is my latest version of my Sony A6000 calibration preset that I'm ow using on my A6000 images in Lightroom.
To better explain how I've come to these settings, let me start by pointing out what I found wrong with Lightroom's defaults to begin with. first of all, I'm using the standard colour profile in my camera, and so I'm basing this on the standard profile in Lightroom too. Even with aa matching colour profile, I've never been happy with the way Lightroom handles A6000 images. They've always seemed too flat and dull, and ever so slightly "off". When comparing the Raw files in Lightroom, to the corresponding Jpegs in Photos (as an example) you can really see a big difference. Even if you apply the standard profile in Lightroom, A6000 images, in my opinion, still have the following issues:
In my attempts to solve this, I gathered some images in Lightroom, and I got the corresponding Jpeg files and loaded them into Photos on the mac. That way I can command tab between them for easy comparisons as I tweak the settings in the develop module. After a lot of trial and error, I think I now have a set of settings that should give you very similar results to what you're getting out of the camera.
There you have it. It's still not perfect, but I'm much happier with using these settings as a starting point. I think the blues are still a little off. I'm going to keep at it, and if Ic an improve it further, I'll have another version out in a while! I generally apply these on import by using the "Apply During Import" section of the import dialog box.
One of the other things that I've noticed is that raw files sometimes seem to be brighter than the out of the camera Jpegs too. At first I thought it was my own fault for over exposing everything, but I'v e noticed that there can be a clear difference between the raws and jpegs in terms of brightness sometimes. It's not all the time, and I'm having trouble trying to identify any correlation between the type of image and when this occurs. So, I'm not sure why this is the case, but it's something to be aware of.
