My name is Robin and I am new to Agilo. I have installed the Windows
Installer Version and I have activated the trial version of Agilo. Now
I want to test it. I set up a project, a team with some members and a
milestone with some sprints. The team is assigned to every sprint and
I have some tasks in the sprint backlogs.
Now I want to start with a ticket as a team member. But when I am
logged in as the team meber, I cannot access the edit site of the
ticket. So i cannot start the ticket.
I tried to give me all the other user rights in the administration but
I doesn't help. I cannot start the ticket and as the product owner I
further cannot see the product or sprint backlog in the side bar.
Can anybody help me with this?
Thanks a lot for you help!
Best regards!
Robin
Please bear in mind agilo works with ticket hierarchy. So the flow is: the PO creates Requirements and breaks these down into User Stories. The other roles can read these items, but not modify them. The Team Members then break down User Stories into Tasks. Other roles can read tasks, but not modify them.
The Team Members will work on Tasks, these are the items they actually take to their desks, so to say.
Regards,
Garbrand

Thank you for your answer. Yes of course, there are User Stories
broken down into tasks and assigned to a team member. But the team
member cannot start the ticket - thats my problem. What would you
suggest, I should do now?
Thanks!

Looking at my setup, Team Members have the following permissions: TEAM_MEMBER and TICKET_MODIFY.
Maybe you can try that?

in addition to what Garbrand said: Which ticket type do you want to modify?
fs
I want to modify a task. My user has all the rights described by
Garbrand and more.
When the user is logged in, there is an yellow warning at the start of
the page with the following message:
Warning: <acct_mgr.web_ui.MessageWrapper object at 0x04B25C30>
Maybe it is a hint to the problem?
Thanks a lot!

Yes, actually it is. There are a couple of posts related to that (check
the group archive for a more detailled explanation). You need to disable
the EmailVerificationModule of AccountManager - alternatively you need
to confirm the email address of your user.

It works! Adding this row under [components] helps:
acct_mgr.web_ui.EmailVerificationModule = disabled
Thanks a lot! I am very happy! :D
