Help - can you suggest some reading on agile architecture?

Hi all. I could do with some pointers as I am looking into several aspects of Agile/Scrum that interest me. Does anyone have any good book/article recommendations on either:

 

• Emerging/evolving architecture
• Agile on enterprise applications
• Solution design (do we still have one? How much do we actually need?)
• Agile and infrastructure

 

Any help would be greatly appreciated. Happy to present back if I manage to produce anything of value. I recently read Martin Fowler’s http://martinfowler.com/articles/designDead.html which is still a good read. I particularly liked the section called “Do you wanna be an Architect when you grow up?” which made me smile.

Hi Ian,

I'm passionate about this topic, partly because of my technical background and partly because it comes up again and again in my work. It seems (understandably) a regular battle ground and source of fear within many traditionally grounded enterprise teams. 

I like the Don Reinertsen books - they have challenged me most in this area (though not IT specific) particularly Managing the Design Factory (I've not yet read the latest one) and particularly in relation to flow and value generation - http://royd.to/donreinertsen-on-amazon
