We have an opening @ The PAI Group in Harrogate for a developer to work on a C#/MVC web solution.
Key Skills
• MVC
• C#
• SQL Server
• nHibernate
• S#arp Architecture
• TDD (NUnit/MOQ)
• Continuous Integration (Team City)
• Any ASP.NET, VB.NET or VBA would be beneficial
About the Role
• You will be an integral part of a small team developing a green field MVC project.
• Your day to day role will involve:
• A daily stand up
• Writing BDD scenarios for user stories using SpecFlow
• Using pair programming and TDD to implement the stories using MVC/C#
• Releasing to the clients
• Getting client feedback from UAT
You will also be involved in regular planning and retrospectives, so an ability and desire to offer suggestions to make the product and processes better are important.
There may be some Legacy work using ASP.NET, VB.NET.
About the Company
The PAI Group are a certification body with many clients in the Agri-Food/Supermarket sector. We are starting to offer bespoke IT solutions to these clients to help them to manage their supply chain. As such we are a small team, but with the potential to grow.
We offer a friendly environment in which to work, including a roof garden.
We are close to Hornbeam Park train station.
Motivation and team fit is more important than experience.
