[release-announcement] AgiliaLinux 8.0.0 is here!

After 18 months we see our first release.

In distro:

* glibc 2.12.2
* gcc 4.5.2
* Qt 4.7.4
* GTK+ 2.24.3
* xorg-server 1.10.2
* mesa 7.10.3
* KDE 4.7.1
* GNOME 2.32.1
* XFCE 4.8.3
* LXDE 0.5.0
* Desktop based on Openbox 3.5.0
* Desktop based on Fluxbox 1.3.1

With this release we change our official development cycle: AgiliaLinux
for now is rolling-release distro with periodical stable snapshots. In
fact we make official our de-facto development cycle which has 1.5 years.

* As in any rolling, updates comes to only one distribution tree.
Maintainers should provide smooth updates without manual work (in dreams
:));
* New snapshot will be released every 3 months. Version number will
contain X.Y.Z and will build by this scheme;
* First snapshot, this release — 8.0.0
* Every new release from three-month cycle will increase Y, for
example 8.1.0, 8.2.0, etc;
* In three month cycle can be some mini-releases (which will fix
LiveCD, or installer, or other critical bug in DVD), they will increase
Z, for example, if we release next snapshot in next week, it will be 8.0.1
* If prorep update to current distro will want hard manual work
(for example: if init will be changed to systemd), we will increase X,
next will be 9.0.0.

Now AgiliaLinux has official mascot. It's a girl called Sammy. Her nick
is codename for this release. Only that we know about her — she's a
brunette. If you are a GIMP wizard or simple artist-painter, you can
paint Sammy as you see her ^_^
