The basic API for the Kernel is complete, though no doubt there remain a number of bugs as well as a number of capabilities still to be completed.

Looking forward to how we will use the Kernel, I am fascinated by the connection between journal entry timestamps and version time stamps--they will be the same, allowing us to access timestamps which update a given block element and consequently the journal entries which created the changes. Only we need to take it one step further, as a rolon is potentially comprised of a number of block elements, i.e. inodes.

Now if every inode were to carry the uuid of the rolon that it is a part of, we could easily build an index of the timestamps of all the journal entries which updated each rolon, and far more efficently than AW4's journals. So we need to include a timestamp iterator for rolons in the Kernel API.

But perhaps before working on that we need a page in the wiki covering the status of each class or object, as a means of driving development.
