Hi all,

This months meeting will be at The Old Smithy in Eccleshall at 7.30. (Thanks for the suggestion Rob)

Given that I haven't had the opportunity to see the venue, we will go to the pub and find what facilities are available and see if it can become a permanent home.
If not we will discuss our options.

Given the situation with a venue - it is a little difficult to plan content. So I suggest an Open Space, law of two feet, style of meeting with a view to deciding on our next steps.

Hello Agile Staffs,

I'm not going to be available for this month, which I am gutted about because our cool project seems to be shelved for all sorts of reasons out of our control. I look forward to hearing about the new venue.

Unfortunately, and again out of our control, the student interest in Agile Staffs may not travel as far as Eccleshall.

I've just spoken to the the venue, and have provisionally booked the seperate room which will hold just over 10 people. 7:30 is real bad time to order food, so maybe a sit down for a while, and order food just after 8pm.

 

I have prepared a short presentation of a blog post I wrote a couple of weeks ago, as I'd like to receive feedback of others experiences with database integration and how they've overcome them. Specifically of interest is any input about informing senior management of the business impact of tightly coupled systems.
