Actually, I feel that job posts should not even be allowed in this forum. I'm sure there are better sites to do this kind of stuff ... but if it helps to at least quarantine these posts then maybe setting up a thread dedicated to it doesn't sound like a bad idea...

Hi Everyone,

I have a suggestion and would like your feedback on this.

As there are so many people who post jobs in this group, would it be easier if we put them all in one place ?

Also as a community we can decide which of these jobs should go on there.
What that does we make the community stronger, provide them opportunities where they really practice agile development.

This could also help with the reduction of spamming as well.

Would really like your feedback on this.

Hi Illum,

I'm seeing quite the opposite =). Since the beginning of this year there are about 4 job posts and about twice of that for discussions posts. The job posts so far are related to agile and the posters aren't from recruitment agencies. So I don't find much of spamming presently and not sure if it is the right time to put in a separate site (it would be a fun project though).

Thanks for giving your suggestion though! =)

How does the others see this?

Hi Han,

Almost one year ago (see embed link), we had a poll here and most people (though not much) are comfortable with job postings in this mailing list, with the use of prefix [Job] in the subject header (which didn't happen well).

Perhaps we should do another poll again? What do you think?

IMHO job postings are a good idea.

Also perhaps "I'm looking for a new job" kind of mails might work too :)

At that level, I don't find it spammy either. :)
