Hello current and future Agilistas!

So far we have 17 people who've signed up. Hopefully, before this Wednesday, there would even be more.

I hope you don't mind me setting the stage for this one (a bit envious on my part really, seeing how healthier our other Asian neighbors are :-) ). And do hope everyone else also step up to make this work even better.

I would like to suggest that we aim for the following goals for this meet up:
  • get to know how everyone else is doing in their current Agile program
  • solidify our network and support group as a Philippine Agile community
  • identify possible things we can do to help each other out and help other groups get to understand (and eventually transition to) Agile.
With that in mind, maybe we can have the following activities:
  • sharing of experiences and offering of support, advice, suggestions etc (I would like for us to spend as much time here)
  • spend some time talking about what we can do as a community for the long term, and possible activities we can do for the short term (say this quarter).
Please suggest some more :-)

We shall meet at BlastAsia office (thank you Arup!) at around 7:30pm. The address is at:

35th Floor, The Orient Square Bldg. F. Ortigas Road, Ortigas Center, Pasig City.

Map here

I believe the good folks at BlastAsia will serve us some refreshments at the very least.

Looking forward to meeting you all on Wednesday!

regards,
mike

Btw, I still have a few Odd-e poker cards (Anime version) lying around. Happy to give it away for those interested :-)

See you all tomorrow!

mike

For those who will be bringing their cars, there are two parking areas along F. Ortigas Jr. Road. One at the tail end, corner of Julia Vargas, and the other in front of Orient Square. Just check with the parking attendant what time they are closing, though from what I know they operate on a 24/7 basis. Otherwise, there's The Podium mall, though a bit of a walk from there.

Did I get this right Arup and others in this area?

See you tonight!

regards,
mike

Thanx Arup!

Oh btw, PIZZA to be served also. No need to worry about dinner. Of course if people can bring in some more food to share, would be great. :-)

mike

Hi Everyone!

Was not able to attend yesterday due to work commitments. :( Is it still possible to get involved in whatever was planned?

Thanks,
Rach

Hi Rach,

This is a community thing so I don't think you need to ask permission to get involved :-) (No "managers" here LOL). And no limits on what you can do. I will be posting shortly a gist of what happened last night and from there everyone can (and wish will) chip in their ideas.

regards,
mike

Thanks Mike for facilitating yesterday's meetup, Arup for the pizza coffee and venue, and everyone for a nice discussion.

Looking forward to the next one!

Thanx also for sharing with us a glimpse of context-driven testing ;-)
