Hello all,

On November 5th, I will be relocating to Dallas for a new position at Semantra, Inc. While I will continue to participate in as many of Agile Houston's activities and discussions as possible, I'll no longer be acting as a member of the officer's board.

John Salch of PROS will be taking over my seat on the board, effective immediately. As an active participant in the group, and a leader in the software community here in Houston, his contributions to Agile Houston in the last few months have been substantial, and have really helped the group to grow. I'm sure that trend will continue as he takes on a more prominent role.

Thanks to everyone I've talked to and worked with over the last year. It's a smaller world than you think, and I'm sure we'll be running into each other again in the near future.

Best Regards,
Ben

Thanks, Ben, for the introduction. and, thanks for helping to get
this group started... I am excited to be a part of it and I am hoping
I can help spread Agile/Lean ideas in Houston.

I have been going over the Agile Houston wiki pages and correcting
problems and cleaning up. If anyone sees anything that needs to be
fixed or can be improved, feel free to drop me a line.

We have two speakers lined up for 2008 Jan/Feb. I am also working on
a third for March (see my previous post). If anyone knows speakers
they would like to see, please feel free to drop me a line on that as
well. I noticed there was a discussion a few months ago about
speakers that people would like to see. I am about to start going
through that list and making contacts to see who is available.

Just for everyone's information, I have already contacted Mary/Tom
Poppendieck and Mike Cohn. Both are very busy, but we are on their
list for "if they are in Houston or near Houston, they will contact
me."

Best regards,
John
