All,

Javid has updated his topic for the February meeting. I look forward
to seeing you all there.

Regards,
John

Abstract:

Developers generally adapt easily to new methods for project planning
and collaboration, but practices such as TDD, refactoring, and
continuous integration often pose a direct challenge to the way many
developers have learned to design, code, and test software. When
introduced to these concepts, different people react in different
ways. In an attempt to capture the different reactions to TDD at PROS,
Javid helped the PROS management team put together a questionnaire to
gauge developers' reactions. In addition to talking about the findings
of this questionnaire, Javid will introduce you to the fundamental
concepts of TDD and evolutionary design and will discuss the most
common questions and concerns that he has heard from people in many
different organizations. He will also talk about strategies for
introducing TDD into an organization.
