Can anyone suggest a way to simulate a rice doll virtually? I could get each person to use an app on their phone, but ideally, I would like it visible in something like miro.

sorry guys I wasn't explicit enough. I know there are online sites and apps available, but I am trying to keep people on the miro board and not have to leave to go to another site.

Miro allows you to place an iframe on the board. If you had a site that returned a random integer between 1 and 6, then refreshing that link would be like the roll of a die. Here is a site that returns a random integer: https://www.random.org/integers/?num=1&min=1&max=6&col=5&base=10&format=plain&rnd=new . I suppose you could contrive for that return value to appear within a delimited iframe.

Good luck!

I tried it after posting the previous message. I tried inserting an iframe, as Miro allows one to do. But when I tried to run it, Miro said its CSP prevented it. Do you want to ask Miro why it prevents what it allows?

Another idea with which you might tinker. Create a Google sheet with a cell, such as C3, containing the formula =randbetween(1,6). Format the cell to be really, really big. Set the recalculation of the sheet to be done automatically ever minute and on change. Upload that sheet to the Miro board. Adjust the size etc as needed. When you update, the value might change. This sort of works (the update is not always done). Try it. Or maybe it will give you some ideas.

In the worst case, I suppose someone can develop a new app for Miro that does what you want.

Just meanwhile, being excited with the conversation, I've contacted few people I know in Miro with suggest to develop this feature.
No response yet, let's see.

I agree that open API for plugins allows any developers to make it. If someone has Frontend dev, please contact me, I'll be glad to help
