Hi All,

I want to create custom planning poker cards with my logo on it.

I do not want to buy them with someone else's logo (e.g. Mountain Goat).

I do want them to be shipped to Canada.

Will you please share URL of the vendor you have used with me?

P.S. Have already read this earlier thread: https://groups.google.com/forum/#!topic/agilegames/K9FdzP8sD3o

Thanks,

Michael

Michael,
I have been using PrinterStudio.com for my Coaching Cards project. I am very satisfied and can help you if needed.

I use the standard poker-sized cards, and I chose standard (300gsm) quality:

(I'm not getting any kickbacks or credits by referring you - I just like their product/service.)

Interesting. In my current engagement, the teams like having the physical cards.

Of course, the team chooses …

Hi Michael,

I remember on Mike Cohn's store  there were an option to order a custom design. I don't see it now, but I guess you can contact Mike and his assistants to cooperate on making the custom design pack of the same quality as the MG labeled one. They are of extremely good quality which I've rarely seen on all the copies.

P.S. [Off-topic]
I'm collecting examples of Planing Poker cards and so far have around 20 examples.
Would anyone be interested seeing them if I publish photos?
And also I'll be happy to receive more samples for my collection, so whenever it is possible, just send me one :-)

iHi All,

Thanks for the help! You guys rock!

The vendors suggested are:
The other good info was about the copyright requirement.

Next question: Where do you get the artwork for the cards? I am lazy so ideally someone has something I can modify and customize to make my own.

Sorry that I didn't realized to ask this the first go around.

Thanks again.

Hi Michael,

The other good info was about the copyright requirement.

What copyright requirement do you refer to? I cannot find it in the thread...
My company is also in the process of designing and printing cards, so this info would be welcome/needed...

Thanks!

Here is the copyright info on specific sequence of numbers:

Hi Ram,
We use Kardwell at www.kardwell.com  Our contact there is Nancy at nan...@kardwell.com  You can tell her that I pointed you to them. Their cards are the best in the industry. They print many of the cards you'd find in casinos and stores. They can send you a sample. They used to do only larger print runs. The last time I spoke with Nancy about quantities, she said there was a minimum of 500 decks. You may want to double check with her just in case that has changed.   If you're looking for someone in Europe, I've worked with Ivory.co.uk on a few Planning Poker ® license agreements . I've seen their cards and they do a nice job. My contact there is Steve Shedden - st...@ivory.co.uk or 05603 462 956
Mountain Goat Software has a trademark on the cards and a copyright on the number sequence. I've attached a royalty-free license agreement. Please read it and if you're interested, sign a copy and send it back to me via email or fax to 720-221-0721. Once I see artwork, that identifies our trademark and copy right, I'll countersign and return the license to you. The license describes what you need to do, but I've also tried to simplify that in the second attachment, which is additional guidance about using the term Planning Poker. The main requirement is that somewhere on the box or deck of cards it says:
PLANNING POKER® is a reg. trademark of Mountain Goat Software, LLC
Sequence of values is (C) Mountain Goat Software, LLC
