QA SIG North - Giving Veterans an Opportunity in Software Testing

Veterans4Quality.org is a non-profit 501(C)(3) organization that trains military Veterans how to test software. Veterans4Quality volunteers are currently training class #7 in hopes of landing each student a 90 day paid internship at a local Austin business. In this Agile Austin QA Sig Carl Shaulis will give a brief summary of the training program and current curriculum. The objective of this conversation is to find out from the local testing community what skills are truly needed in Austin in order give these amazing Veterans an opportunity at a long term career in Software Testing.
