The Certified Agile Leader (CAL-I) Workshop is less than 2 months away (June 14-16), get your tickets now!
The Scrum Alliance, which grants CSM and CSPO certifications, has launched a new certification program called Certified Agile Leader (CAL-I). It is targeted directly to leaders who are tasked with creating and/or operating in agile software development environments. Here is a link to the CAL-I learning objectives that the certification will cover.
As of early 2017, only ~10-12 educators in the US have been approved to deliver this certification program. One of those is Bob Galen, an experienced Agile coach and certified trainer who has real-world leadership experience having led Agile software teams for almost 25 years, and having held senior level leadership roles at the Director, VP, and C-level in a variety of organizations. Three years ago, Bob presented at Keep Austin Agile 2014 and his presentation about Essential Patterns of Mature Agile Leadership was the top-rated presentation.
Bob has agreed to offer this 2.5-day workshop in Austin June 14-16. I will be co-facilitating the workshop with Bob and sharing my own real-world Agile leadership experience with attendees. This is an interactive workshop that will cover a significant amount of ground.
