For those who weren't at last week's SIG meeting (or as a reminder for those who were):

Come join us for Global Day of Coderetreat on November 14th! This is for developers, testers, or really anyone who writes code. It is a hands-on chance to practice and improve the way you design, implement, and test code in a fun collaborative way that is a step back from the daily activities of your normal work. You'll work in pairs, chose a language, and work on a fun problem with some interesting twists thrown in to get you to think differently about how you solve problems. You may even get a chance to work in a language that you've been wanting to explore or learn about (or use what you already love best).

While a Coderetreat can be held by anyone at any time, this is the yearly "Global" coordinated event and there will be collaboration with other groups around the world (where timezones allow overlap) that are also conducting Coderetreats on the same day in their location.
