This 1-day Official David J. Anderson Kanban course provides an introduction to Lean, Pull Systems and Kanban.  Kanban, like agile, is a lean approach to project delivery.  Kanban supports small, iterative changes that evolve business processes into more efficient and manageable work streams while minimizing the impact on your current environment making it a low risk, low resistance alternative.  The class is approved by David J. Anderson, inventor of Kanban for software development.  It is taught by Adam Beck.

Participants will learn how to:

·         Drive change by limiting work-in-progress

·         Create policies that positively constrain the collaborative game of software development

·         Manage risk and change negotiations into collaborative problem solving

Kanban Course Agenda

Through an interactive Kanban simulation, participants will learn the concepts behind the following topics while also pulling work through a Kanban system to simulate:

·         Demand Analysis

·         Visualization

·         Work Item Types

·         WIP Limits

·         Classes of Service

·         Metrics
