I know there are dozens of software development companies in Ukraine,
hundreds of agile practitioners (XP evangelists, certified
ScrumMasters, etc.) who do their best to adopt agile practices in the
areas of their responsibilities.
We all face common problems, identify general patterns, come to similar idea...
Now is that when we need to start exchanging.
Share and exchange.
And God bless.
----
Since the group started (last week) we have already 53 members here,
which means the topic is quite required
at this point in time and geographic location. That is just great to
know.
Just to remind and focus everyone to the goals of the group:
we are gathered here to create a community (quite a unique for now in
Ukraine)
to start sharing our ideas, problems, and together seek for solutions
in agile areas.
Ukraine has quite a specific situation in terms on agile - most of the
projects are run as offshore development,
which means that World-wide experience sometimes is not applicable
directly.
So we are all here to accumulate the knowledge spread across unique
projects and situations and try to make it known and reusable.
My feeling (and I hope not only mine) is that we definitely need to
start organizing some live sessions like
open tables, workshops, debates, conferences quite soon.
Any ideas of topics and dates are highly welcomed (I can be contacted
off list as required)
To know more about each others' experience in agile and expectations
on growing it,
I've posted a survey (is there any better word that 'survey" which is
less boring?) on Saturday with four simple questions that will provide
me with some basic info on your expectation on education so that I can
start building a sort of a training plan for our community for the
current year.
The survey for now has been attended by 6 members.
And I'd like to ask the others to visit it please.
