Hi,
I want to try this system and buy it for my next project, I have some questions about it.
1. Is 4.3 production ready? any changelog?
2. Is the new css framework (atk4 theme) ready? any tutorial about how to make it work?
3. I want to use atk as my backend, and I want to expose some(!) operations over json API, how can that be done? can you point me to a tutorial?
4. Can you give me a link to a tutorial about the security framework inside atk4, what are the capabilities and how to implement?
5. When is the new site coming, there is a message in the current site about that for more than a year...

Thanks

I will announce it for you when it's ready. Thank you for the patience, we are very close.

1. Is 4.3 production ready? any changelog?

Framework itself is production-ready, yes. Development environment (sandbox) is under testing.

There is a high-level change log, which is actually a blog post on the new site, waiting for the release.

A low-level change log will also be available , listing all the changes in the framework.

2. Is the new css framework (atk4 theme) ready? any tutorial about how to make it work?

There is a demo-page at http://css.agiletoolkit.org/ just showing the different elements of the CSS framework. The documentation for the CSS framework and it's release under an permissive license will follow the Agile Toolkit release. I want to use this to get more developers try Agile Toolkit ;)

Agile Toolkit is the UI framework. It does not focus on security. It is however following some strong principles of keeping applications safe from developer mistakes. You can read here:

I can't say for certain. I am combining this with my day-job. It would be much easier if more Agile Toolkit developers would actually pay the license fees, but very few have actually decided to pay.

Nevertheless the site itself is ready and documentation (as you have seen from my links and posts here) is very strong now and I'm finishing on some of the sandboxing issues.

I'll start with the beta release which I'll announce in this group, just to give you opportunity to test and report issues, then following with a public release.  After that is done, there will be releases for CSS framework, introduction of Deploy to Cloud feature and some other exciting things!.

Again - thanks all for the patience. I'll try to keep you updated here.
