*Agile Portugal* is the premier international conference in Portugal
about Agile Software Development and its practices, technologies,
attitudes and experiences. Created with both experts and beginners in
mind, Agile Portugal is the place where the Portuguese Agile
community
comes together to exchange and share their experiences about Agile
development approaches.
This second edition will take place on *20-22 June*, in *Porto,
Portugal*. Right before the city's greatest festivities (S. João),
the
conference will be a superb backdrop for innovation, discussion and
networking with other national and international agilists, bringing
together well-known thought leaders, practitioners, and trainers.

*Submissions*
We want Agile Portugal to be an inclusive event for all agile
practitioners and enthusiasts, whether coming from small or large
institutions, companies, or academia.
We encourage you to report and share your experience on a topic of
your
expertise, by submitting a high-quality proposal for one of the
following types of sessions:
• *Talks* — 20min presentations (+5min questions) about a topic of
your
expertise;
• *Lightning talks* — 5min presentation, inspiring and innovative;
• *Posters* — an idea, tool, or research work presented informally
and
interactively.
*Talks*
We are looking for proposals of 20min talks, about exciting ideas,
research projects, experience reports, or lessons learned, from
experienced speakers on the relevant topics for the audience of the
conference.
*Lightning talks*
If you have something to share about agility to the other
participants
of the conference (ideas, fears, questions, concerns, etc), you are
encouraged to submit a 5min presentation, engage others to follow
you,
and get immediate feedback about it.
*Posters*
This year's edition will feature a poster track, aimed at presenting
in
an informal and interactive setting an ongoing or concluded work, be
it
a tool, prototype, idea, or research. This work does not need to be
complete, but should have enough substance to be reviewed.
*Open Space*
In addition to the scheduled sessions, Open Space sessions will take
place throughout all the conference, providing a live and flexible
place
to share questions, talk to the experts, demonstrate software and
techniques, and experiment with Agile practices and ideas. Its
schedule
will be defined during the conference, by you and the other
participants, and will be continuously evolved as new topics emerge
during the event.
*Speaker compensation*
Accepted *talks* and *posters* will be granted *free admission to
both
days* of the event. Accepted *lightning-talks* will receive an
exclusive
Agile Portugal gift.
*How to submit*
Submit a one-page abstract (~400 words) to the program committee by
*May
5th*. You will receive a notification by May 12th, inviting you to
develop the final version to be presented at the conference. Learn
