Hi,
I am currently looking for remote React/Javascript Developers to work at Beatroot Music. This is a full time role contract for 6 month initially and in all likelihood will extend.
About Beatroot:
Beatroot is an all-powerful catalogue management tool for the music industry. It automatically tags metadata for tracks and artists using algorithms and the industry's data in order to improve the process of finding, curating and sharing music. All that presented with a beautiful and powerful interface. We are a collaboration between labels and developers, and our simple, powerful platform has one purpose: empower music and sync managers.
Role responsibilities:
We are looking for a software engineer with a good understanding of JavaScript and the React framework. A successful candidate will be working alongside a team of engineers to build and maintain new features for our catalogue management platform, build reusable components and develop user-facing features to enrich our customer's experience who are using our main product. We focus our efforts on building a flexible set of tools that can plug in to our core API and the data it serves. Our weapons of choice include Ruby on Rails, Node.js, React and Electron.
Required experience:
- 3+ years of professional experience.
- HTML5 and CSS3.
- Solid JavaScript programming skills.
- Familiarity with Node.js, React framework and its architecture.
- Working knowledge of design patterns like MVC or MVVM.
- Fluent communication in English, including verbal and written, is required.
Bonus points:
- Experience with Redux/Flux and utilising a unidirectional data flow.
- Experience with Electron framework.
- Experience with Ruby and Ruby on Rails framework.
- Graphic, Design and/or UX skills.
- Experience with systems administration i.e. Linux stack/AWS/Heroku or Docker.
Monthly rate ranging between 2,000 and 2,500 (GBP) depending on experience.
