The vision outlined there pretty much mirrors my vision for lots of
different alternative currencies.
One of the interviewees is behind http://metacurrency.org which again
is interesting.
That said, I think this and some of the LETS schemes I've looked at
are trying to do too much in a set of very complex standards.
I think it's better to follow the HTTP/HTML approach with a very
simple base transaction standard that can be used regardless of the
specific financial application. Then bit by bit experiment and build
out more complex standards on top of it and not into it.
