Hey Ned,

I just received the notes for the latest book. Thanks.

I’ve moved — to Salem, Oregon. Once Jef, my husband, got the job, things moved rather quickly. And I guess I might add, we moved rather quickly as well. (heh-heh!) So, this explains my absence from the group. 

I’ll miss your steady leadership and the thought-provoking ideas generated by the group. I’ll stay on the list (if you don’t mind) as I just might pick up one of these books every now and then. Most of my activities have taken in me in a different direction, however. I am working ever so slowly on books on fictionalized Northwest history. The Writers’ Group is almost as tantalizing as your group. (!)

Keep in touch. If you find yourself out Oregon way, give me a call. I will happily make time for you.
