Caros colegas,

enviamos uma chamada de envio de artigos para o WBMA, evento para discussão científica sobre métodos ágeis que vem crescendo nos últimos anos. Ele ocorre em conjunto com o Agile Brazil'2012. Caso vocês trabalhem com alguma pesquisa na área, ou conhecem alguém que trabalha, considerem nossa chamada :-) Muitas vezes as pesquisas são realizadas em colaboração com empresas, por isso envio a chamada nesta lista.

O evento também atrai profissionais da indústria interessadas em conhecer os resultados recentes quanto ao avanço de métodos ágeis para desenvolvimento de software, limitações, ferramentas, etc. Portanto, mesmo que não tenham artigos para submeter, considerem participar conosco do workshop!

Call for papers

The Brazilian Workshop on Agile Methods (WBMA) is an academic event on
Agile software development. For this third edition, we hope to repeat
the success of previous years, when the workshop received many papers
and the participation of a large number of students, researchers, and
professionals from all over Brazil. Last year, Agile Brazil (the event
hosting WBMA) counted over 800 attendees from the whole country. This
year the workshop expects to receive even more participants from
Brazil and also researchers and students from abroad, coming from top
international universities and IT companies.

This year, WBMA will happen on September 5th in São Paulo, collocated
with the 3rd Agile Brazil.

The main topics of interest for this workshop are:
   •    Agile and Lean Adoption & Transformation
   •    Empirical studies with Agile/Lean methods
   •    Agile and Lean Tools and Techniques
   •    Theoretical Foundations of Agile and Lean
   •    Agile Development Practices (Technical/Managerial)
   •    Distributed Agile/Lean Development on Large teams
   •    Applying agile methods: good and bad practices, patterns
   •    Agile Testing & Quality Assurance: Techniques, Patterns, and Automated support
   •    Lean Startups
   •    User Experience (UX) in Agile/Lean environments
   •    Scaling Agile to Enterprises
   •    Agile and Lean Principles from Manufacturing and other disciplines
   •    Teaching and Coaching Lean and Agile methods
   •    Human aspects in Agile methods
   •    Agile innovation and entrepreneurship
   •    Dev Ops: communication, collaboration and integration between software development (application/software engineering) and IT operations

Papers about other topics related to agile methods are also welcomed.

Important Dates
   •    15/June/2012: Paper submission deadline
   •    1/Aug/2012: Acceptance notification
   •    20/Aug/2012: Final version due
   •    5/Sept/2012: Workshop date

Original papers will be accepted in English (preferred), Portuguese,
or Spanish. The submissions will be handled electronically through
Easy Chair. The articles must follow the formatting style for events
sponsored by the Brazilian Computer Society (SBC), with a 12-page
limit, including figures and bibliographic references. The template is
