The latest drivers for your motherboard (include Bios) do this by checking your motherboard manufacture website. This because Windows can install universal drivers that are not supported.

I have a Yamaha MG10 UX mixer. I have it plugged into windows 7 through USB. Everything is working but Audacity will not record from the signal. The green lights indicate the sound is getting in but when you push record a blue flat line. I have down loaded all recent drivers from Yamaha. I have tested the microphone and I have check windows sound for the Yamaha device. No matter what I do it no recording happens.

Make sure Steinberg driver is installed and you have selected Yamaha Steinberg USB Audio from the Jamulus Settings window. In that Window, choose ASIO settings and select Device mg-10xu and Mode = Low Latency Driver. I use buffer size 64.

If your MG10XU USB Mixer Driver is not working, you may be able to fix the issue by downloading the latest version of the driver. We recommend using the latest version, which is version 1.8.4 64-bit, to make sure that your product is fully functional. Listed below are some of the steps you can follow to install the latest driver. After you have downloaded the driver, you can install it to your PC or laptop.

Downloading and installing the Yamaha MG10XU Mixer USB driver for Windows 10 is very easy. Simply follow the instructions below to get started. Once the download is complete, you can double-click the downloaded file to open it.

After the driver installer has installed itself, the product should work properly. If it does not, you may need to restart your PC to complete the installation. You will need this driver if you plan to use the device for mixing.

After you install the Yamaha MG10XU Mixer USB driver on your computer, the device will open automatically and give you a chance to play music or record your music. The USB driver lets you record and plays two channels of 16-bit/24-bit audio.

The driver is compatible with Cubase LE and Sonar LE. Both of these software programs support ASIO drivers. For better audio quality, you may want to try using a separate USB adapter to connect the two devices.

This driver is free and easily available. It is highly recommended that you download the latest driver for your MG10XU Mixer USB driver. This is an easy, hassle-free way to connect your device to Windows 10 and start mixing music.

If you disable this feature, the device will not be detected. Once the driver has been installed, your computer should be working properly. If you encounter any issues, contact the manufacturer of your device and get an updated driver.

I have a new Yamaha MG10XU with an extremely simple setup and I have 2 problems with it. I have 1 microphone run into the channel 1 in, connect via USB to my computer for output, and use the headphone monitor output to monitor what I am recording. My fist problem is that I cannot get the board effects to output through the USB. I properly select the effect I want, turn the FX button on, set the master FX RTN nob to the triangle, set the channel FX nob to the triangle, and set the parameter nob in the middle. I can hear the effects being applied in my headphones, but I cannot hear the effects in my recordings on the computer. I did plug a speaker into the stereo out and I am able to hear the effects through my speaker as well, but not on my computer. My second problem is that the sound through the USB is MUCH quieter than the output coming through the stereo out or my headphones. I set the gain to 9 (just above the noise floor, set the master stereo level to max, and set the channel level to max, but the sound through my USB is extremely quiet. I tried recording in Windows recorder and in Adobe Audition, but it is quiet in both locations. I am not using a cloudlifter, but am considering getting one. My voice is BOOMING in the standard stereo out, but quite in the USB output. My microphone is a Shure SM7B. I updated to driver version 2.0.4 in an attempt to fix the issue before posting to this forum. I am not using any COMP and I have left all the EQs flat while trying to figure out the issue. I have the PAD and HPE turned off on the line and the phantom 48 volts turned off.

Hi there - totally pleased with the performance of the new MBP, however, I use a Yamaha Motif ES8 as a midi controller which requires a driver. I found the following driver, but can't get it to load on the computer. Any help appreciated!

This is required only if the Yamaha Steinberg USB Driver, the Yamaha Steinberg Thunderbolt Driver or the TOOLS software that includes the driver is installed on an Apple silicon-based Mac for the first time.

Still having this issue on a new install of arch - I think the issue may be my yamaha MG10XU which I use for my audio, but if that's the case, then why does pavucontrol fix it while I leave it open? The audio usually only cuts out when I open an app, telegram specifically likes to turn off my sound when I don't have pavucontrol open.

This was after installing the YAMAHA Steinberg USB driver from the official Yamaha Professional Audio website, which I strongly recommend. The default one that Windows 10 installed when it first detected the mixer somehow resulted in CPU usage skyrocketting due to svchost.exe. Not sure what that was about.
