Dear Sister,

Got your mail addressed to me but without a copy marked to me and the good heart which you had told understood me and forwarded this to me to my personal id ,so I am replying .First of all this is a democratic country which has got its freedom in 1947 ,So i hope everybody has the freedom of expression ,freedom of speech and freedom to write..and I am in the Industry part 20 years and I think i am integral part of the industry and I can put my views in my personal capacity, and I am not a lone standing man.To air my views for the fraternity fighting against weekly payment and zero percent I don't have be rocket scientist nor you have be a owner of a travel company.This is all my personal view nothing to do with cox and kings which I work for ..Hope you understand.Not marking cc to me and marking cc to few Airlines raise the doubt on which side you are ? anyway its ok..I never see as a this mail of yours as a arrow from the the dark respect this as your personal views and I am fighting you all of you and one or 2 like this are fight against me anyhow this is a democratic country

Next Associating Rajji Rai - Iqbal Mulla - Biji Eapen ....I saw guts and calibre in them and my personal view the unity they formed should last long and win..is this view wrong.?.I will be continiuning this crusade untill weekly is stalled .Regarding Rajji Rai and Iqbal Mulla all are aware off ..they are like a open book that s why they had got a landslide victory a historic win..do u mean the people voted dint have the remotest idea of what they did..if people were against them they should have forfeited their deposit not won a landslide .People s mandate has to be respected and people verdict is final .

Biji is doing a great job and my personal view was these men of virtues to unite..I dint see any wrong in it and now coming to the moon mission..Just do see the message just the inputs..I meant team work and joint efforts so I had given a classic examples which we all know..When you came doesn't matter - What you did really matters ..I personally believe in this ..

And lastly coming to the wishing me happy Diwali ,thank you sister for this ,god bless you and your family and lets hope 2012 weekly payment to get stalled and make 2900 odd families to smile and one thing I liked and want to answer your mail you had asked for a great Diwali next year..this can only happen if these great men unite ...we all should support this and not try to jeopardise this ..This is my personal View...Have a nice day..

Firstly you have been spending a lot of time in writing about association matters are these your views or are these the views of Cox and Kings , are we to believe as you work there your Management has given you the authority to give its views through you , is it so .

Secondly do you even have the remotest memory of what Mr Rajji Rai and Mr Iqbal Mulla have done for the last 3 years in TAAI ref ( TAAI leaks , the zero commission and now weekly payment etc etc ) .

Your letter associating Mr Biji Eapen make one wonder and have doubts so please pen your thougths with care , I am now compelled to believe that the thought and view aired by Asha were correct on the going ons in IAAI . Has IAAI lost to the cause and are they in collaboration with Rajji Rai and IQbal Mulla of all the people , for what ? Are you in sync with reality is this IAAI 's stand , Mr Mohan Narayan you better be sure of what you are saying Sir as the respect that good people like Biji have in the industry could get seriously eroded .

Also please write with some serious intent and not comparing things to the moon and other missions . I am Sorry if you do not like my view and I have now no hope from any association and choose to stay out , , but your message was so discomforting that one had to respond .

So to everyone a Happy Diwali , not really sure the next Diwali will be a great one for the Indian Travel Agent .

Thanks for the info ..We trust 3 personality who can make a difference ..that is ..Rajji Rai – Iqbal Mulla and Biji Eapon. the Super Stars..AND FEW MORE GOOD HEARTS IN THE FRATERNITY. who have the guts to and the caliber to stop this ..these good hearts ,MEN OF VIRTUES and the men in black should be one always raise above the organizations for this noble cause….and perform this act like 1969 – Man of Moon by Neil Armstrong ,Edwin Aldrin and Michael Collins and it was only possible with team effort and making the John F kennedy words and dream true..” form of Confederation “and let this be Apollo 11..

Few have gone to moon and many space crafts circled the orbit of moon but people only remember Apollo 11 and Neil Armstrong and his great team and landed and President John F Kennedy who made this happen as he promised within the decade in his great speech in the Rice Stadium in 12^th Sept 1962..

And lets stand by the single locations agents and their families and teach a lesson the MEN who try to breach the mandate, breach the trust and trying to pledge the lively wood of agents FOR THEIR NARROW GAINS ..These men should understand it is very wrong trying to prepare the agents as the so called Inevitable WEEKLY , we should understand these agents have already pledged their family gold and property for the bank guarantee ..

Lets always believe in the concept “ NOTHING IS IMPOSIBLE”..WE WILL WIN..

Sub : Meeting with Hon. Minister for Civil Aviation, Govt. of India on account of
the Agenda Proposal on Weekly Payment System

Greetings from IAAI,

As authorized and empowered by the IAAI Director Board and the National Management Committee meeting held at Goa on 21^st October 2011, IAAI delegation met Shri Vayalar Ravi, Hon Minister for civil Aviation on Sunday, 23^rd Oct 2011.

The delegation was led by our National President Shri Biji Eapen and Treasurer Shri. S. Saldanha accompanied by Mr. PB Boss , Mr. Jaison Thakolkaran , Mr. VK Sageer and Mr. Noufel Mather (IAAI Kerala State President, Vice President , Secretary & EC Member respectively) . The delegation had handed over a memorandum on behalf of the Indian Travel Fraternity and apprised the Hon Minister on the procedural failure and the implications of the Weekly Payment System coupled with the lapses and disparity in APJC –India.

The NMC meeting had assessed the pros and cons of weekly payment system mooted by the ‘Indian carriers’ and evaluated the obscure game played under IATA Res. # 818g by the Agents members in the APJC . It was noted that the 12^th Aug meeting was ‘sub judice ’, as claimed by one Agent and the ‘historical’ fourth meeting on 24^th Aug 2011 was a total surrender and suicidal to the Travel Fraternity. It was shocking to learn that there was deliberate silence for one month after the APJC meeting which was very crucial and affecting the very existence of the ordinary Travel Agents, and neither any report nor circulars were released to even their own memberships till IAAI took up this core issue at the IAAI - Tamil Nadu AGM held on 23^rd September 2011.

Upon appreciating the efforts of the PST in presenting our objections at PAConf/34 on 12^th Oct 2011 at Singapore, the NMC unanimously empowered PST to look for other legal formalities to stall implementation of weekly payment system and on the Singapore proposal for unity of the associations under one umbrella, consented the PST to have an alliance only with ‘transparency ‘, at par, and equitable representation in APJC –India .

In any case, IAAI is committed and dedicated to save the Travel Agents trapped under the debris of zero commission, TAP, ADMs, weekly payments etc embodied through our APJC –India which deserved to be rightly termed as “ Airline Programme Joint Council” instead of “Agency Program Joint Council” .

Please let us have your suggestions, comments and support to enable us to streamline further course of action . And together, we will make the difference.
