Dear Friends:

Originally there was “no-to-zero” group, apparently fighting for commission. However, when Travel Agents suspected that the persons behind the scene were those who had actively promoted zero, No2Zero group receded into oblivion.

Then came “Jagore-TA” group, apparently fighting against weekly and misleading Travel Fraternity about the false efforts of some vested interests to stall weekly, while in truth, the same team was instrumental to advance the weekly by a year! When this was exposed Jagore-TA was hounded out by Bhagore-TA.

Now there is a new team on the horizon “Save TAAI”, apparently trying to bring in certain values and fight reported corruption, which is rampant in the TAAI elections… good effort. However, how many of these “Save TAAI” team can vouch that they have NOT benefited from the free tickets and hotel stays generously offered by the contestants?

When  there are so many issues festering the Travel Trade, what we really need is  a strong “SAVE TRAVEL AGENT” group and not just a save TAAI group.

Friends, does anyone know that for the last 8 months, there has not been a single APJC meeting ? Well , most of our representatives in APJC were busy buying votes and thereafter fighting to retain their seat or casting illegal votes. Would you still trust such wheeler-dealers to represent you at the APJC ? Haven’t they done enough harm to the Travel Trade already ?

A4A suggests a open referendum / election to the APJC from the Travel Trade irrespective of the Associations, as per Res. 818g. (By the way, does TAFI still insists that we are under Res. 810i ? Travel Fraternity would appreciate a response from the Stalwarts of TAFI else, as idea ad goes…”stop ullu banaoing”)

 Rgds

A4A
