AgenDAV + Davical - Issues with recurring entries

I've been trying to setup a booking diary for a customer using AgenDAV and Davical. Everythings configured and works. The calendar can also be accessed directly with a native client on the PC.

I've run into an issue with recurring entries, which i'll try to describe.

Using AgenDAV, i will create an appointment on say monday morning at 9am, and set it to recur 20 times, 7 days a week. That part works fine.

Then, i will select one of those appointments, and delete it, choosing the option for "delete only this one". This also works fine.

However if i continue deleting further entries, the first 4 will delete just fine, however the 5th one wont delete, instead a red panel pops up in the corner saying "Oops. Unexpected error", then another bubble with "Interface error, Oops. Unexpected error"

At this point, no further entries from the sequence can be deleted from within AgenDAV.

Modifying the entries seems to work ok, even once its got into this state, and deleting the whole series also works fine.

If i then try to use the desktop client (eM Client) to delete an entry, it works fine, and the deletion works. 

However at this point things get even weirder. If i then go back to agendav, sometimes the deleted entry will show up correctly in AgenDAV, and i can usually then delete one more entry from within agendav before the issue recurrs. 

Alternatively, sometimes after deleting an entry with the desktop client, returning to AgenDAV will result in all of the deleted entries reappearing, and edited entries reverting back to the original description. The desktop client still shows everything correctly when in this state, but agendav just completely loses the plot.

I've tried what i can to figure out whats going on, but i'm pretty stumped. Any ideas?
