Don't expect many answers, because no-one knows what the UK Government's cunning plan is !

BRITISH CONSUL WILL GIVE A BRIEFING IN XÀBIA ON THE CONSEQUENCES OF BREXIT

The meeting will take place on (Thursday) November 3rd at 13:00 pm in the multipurpose room at Portal del Clot
What will happen when the UK finally leaves the European Union? This is the question that thousands of Britons residing permanently in Xàbia have asked. The British consul, Sarah-Jane Morris, will visit the municipality to discuss all the information they currently have at the British consulate.
The British population is very concerned with the consequences of Brexit. The questions that are of most concern are foreign exchange, the validity of passports and driver's licenses, inheritance tax and the situation regarding health care. With regard to the latter, Martyn Standing, will reply to those affected by the situation. In addition, the consul will also be accompanied at the meeting by lawyers Jonathan Lambert and Jaime Sendra Galan.
The Mayor, José Chulvi, and the Councillor for Foreign Residents, Doris Courcelles, will be present at the meeting. Doris says that the talk can also be useful for Spanish citizens who have questions, for example, if they wish to enter the UK in search of job opportunities.
